Firm Overview
WSB is a design and consulting firm specializing in engineering, community planning, environmental, and construction services. Our dedicated staff of over 1,500 improves the way people engage with communities, transportation, infrastructure, energy and our environment. We offer services in a wide range of complementary areas that seamlessly integrate planning, design and implementation from 50 offices located across Minnesota, Texas, Oklahoma, North Dakota, Florida, Georgia, Colorado, California, North Carolina and Arkansas.
WSB initiated its expansion into Texas in 2016, propelled by the state's strong infrastructure pipeline and substantial demand for engineering, planning, and construction services. Since that time, WSB has established eight offices across Texas and employs over 300 professionals statewide. While the majority of WSB's growth in Texas has been organic, three targeted acquisitions—Rogers Design Services, Nathelyne A. Kennedy & Associates, and EST, Inc.—have played a key role in strengthening the our presence and reputation within strategic regions throughout the state.
Company History
WSB was founded in 1995 by Bret Weiss, Pete Willenbring, Don Sterna, Ron Bray, and Bernie Mittlesteadt on the understanding that culture drives results. Since 1995, our staff has grown significantly across multiple strategic offices throughout the U.S. We inspire each other to discover thoughtful and creative solutions that look beyond the needs of today to the opportunities of tomorrow. The name WSB was formed from our founders’ last names. WSB is a strong leader in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry. We’ve dedicated ourselves to the value of strong relationships, collaboration, and forward-thinking ideas.
